May 08, 2008
The Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Ltd (CAMS), together with Octagon, is pleased to announce that the Australasian Safari will run as a CAMS sanctioned event for the next two years with an option for a further two years.
The news comes as CAMS and Octagon signed an agreement this week to sanction the Australasian Safari as a CAMS sanctioned event for the next two years with both parties extremely pleased with the result.
CAMS CEO, Graham Fountain announced that “this is a positive outcome and demonstration of the partnership between CAMS and Octagon with respect to this unique event”.
The Australasian Safari (formerly known as the Australian Safari) will be held 23-30 August 2008 in Western Australia. With the start location still to be revealed, the event promises to be an exciting adventure for all competitors and CAMS is proud to be a part of the event for the coming years.
