Hamilton - Alonso Feud Brewing at McLaren?

Tim Collings from iafrica.com reports
Spaniard Alonso, the double drivers champion who moved from Renault to join McLaren this year, was evasive and looked sad during a pre-race news conference in advance of Sunday’s French Grand Prix.
He frequently referred to his 22-year-old British rookie as Hamilton, rather than Lewis, and he also said he was unable to explain why a McLaren team member said he was frustrated during the United States Grand Prix.
David Tremayne from Belfast Telegraph reports:
As the world sits and waits for inter-team rivalry to tear the wheels off the McLaren machine, Lewis Hamilton admitted ahead of Sunday’s French Grand Prix that he and team-mate and title rival Fernando Alonso sat down and agreed media tactics following his narrow triumph in the recent US GP at Indianapolis.
Fernando Alonso has signalled he is ready to up the ante in his battle with McLaren team-mate Lewis Hamilton by declaring the title race “starts now”.
The Spaniard trails the rookie by ten points in the drivers’ championship after being eclipsed in successive races.
However, the double world champion is adamant that F1’s return to Europe, beginning this weekend at Magny-Cours, will prompt a reversal of fortunes.
He said: “I think I’m going to benefit from coming back to Europe.
“The championship starts now. We have done just seven races and now I’m more comfortable and full of confidence.”
Alonso will be further encouraged by Hamilton’s admission that he has previously struggled at Magny-Cours.
