ING Renault F1 Team Dress Rehearsal

Mar 01, 2007

The trackside teams continued their work in Bahrain this week, with the final three-day test session of the 2007 pre-season. Naturally, the race drivers were out in force for these crucial final runs, with Giancarlo and Heikki pushing the R27 to its limits - and sometimes beyond!

In addition to tuning set-ups and conduct final reliability checks, the programme also included more race weekend preparation, including qualifying simulations, pit-stop practices and formation laps with practice starts.

In spite of some unexpected on-track incidents, the final session leaves the team well-prepared for the first race of the year - which is now just over two weeks away, on 18 March in Melbourne!
