Richard Childress Racing star Jeff Burton claimed his fifth NASCAR Busch Series win of the season by 1.718 seconds over Mark Martin Nov. 17 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Burton ended the season 15th in the series standings after charting five wins, 12 top-five and 17 top-10 finishes through just 19 starts. Matt Kenseth placed third, 2007 Series Champion Carl Edwards crossed the finish line fourth and 2007 Kentucky Speedway series race winner Stephen Leicht completed the top five.
