Brad Ward made a last-lap move for victory as he slipstreamed past Neil Crompton to win Race 2 at Mt Panorama Bathurst today.
An early race dice was broken up when Paul Morris failed in an attempt to pass Neil Crompton, turning himself around at The Chase, and also causing Crompton to lose a number of places.
At the front Brad diced with brother James and father Phil after Paul Kemal also ran wide at The chase, damaging his front splitter and pushing him down the order. Tommy Quinlan joined in the fight for the lead until a clash Phil Ward dropped him off the lead pack. Crompton fought back to take the lead late in the race, only to lose it with a few corners to go.
