Off Road Racing: Todd LeDuc Wins On Toyo Open Country M/T Tires At Chula Vista International Raceway Rockstar

Todd LeDuc, driver of the ROCKSTAR / Toyo Tires Ford truck, won the Jason Baldwin Memorial Cup Pro 2 Qualifier on Saturday during the Championship Off-Road Racing™ weekend (September 29 & 30) while competing on Toyo® Open Country M/T® tires in Chula Vista, California. LeDuc was quick all weekend, finishing third in the regular Pro 2™ race on Saturday, and then running for the lead during Sunday’s race until an equipment failure dashed his hopes for a repeat win.

“We made changes to the engine to make more power and our Toyo tires handled it with no problem, ” said LeDuc. “We were fast all weekend, and were able to lead the field by a straightaway during our win. ”

Also capturing the podium during the weekend was Rick Huseman with his Fabtech / Toyo Tires Toyota Tundra truck competing in the Pro 4™ class. Huseman scored a second place finish during the Saturday race, and then backed that up with another second place during the Jason Baldwin Memorial Cup Pro 4 Qualifier on Sunday. Huseman is on a roll as he handed Toyo their first CORR Pro 4 class victory during the previous race weekend in Antelope Valley.

“We are excited to see the track speed that Todd LeDuc had shown throughout the weekend and congratulate him on his victory, ” said Stan Chen, manager of events and motorsports, Toyo Tire (U. S.A. ) Corporation. “Both Todd LeDuc and Rick Huseman demonstrated the performance provided by their Toyo Open Country M/T tires. ”
