Martinsville is a very demanding track, and track position is everything. It’s important to get a good qualifying effort in and stay up front all races long. “

“We had a hard finish two weeks ago at Talladega, but we’ve put that behind us and it’s on to Martinsville. We tested at Caraway last week, which should help us for this weekend. Erik has run well at Martinsville in the past, and I think we’re capable of contending for the win this weekend. “
