RICK CRAWFORD – No. 14 Power Stroke Diesel by International Ford F-150 (finished 3rd, qualified 23rd) – PRESS CONFERENCE – TELL US ABOUT YOUR RUN AND HOW THE RACE UNFOLDED. “It started out a little difficult. We started back there around 20th and even after the first pit stop. I think that was the call of the race was to pit 15 laps into the race that extended our fuel mileage to when the next guys pitted on green. Track position was everything. Our Power Stroke Diesel by International to run good and our Roush Yates engine under the hood did its job. It was a great call by Kevin ‘Cowboy’ Starland [crew chief] on the pit box and a great job by Circle Bar Racing in the pits. It was a fun 2007. ”

WHAT WERE YOU THINKING IN THE FINAL LAPS? DID YOU THINK YOU HAD A CHANCE? “I thought he [Kyle Busch] possibly had the race won. For me, the first thing I think of is two trucks behind me and that was Kevin Harvick and we all know how he and Ron Hornaday are on restarts, so that was a concern. So, I had to get a good start. Me and Johnnie [Benson] did get a good start. Johnnie was able to get under the inside of Kyle. In my mind as a racer, it ain’t over until the checkered flag falls. So, I didn’t think I was out of it until I saw the checkered flag and there was Kyle up in the outside wall and Johnnie winning the race. In any minute, things in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series things can change. Johnnie could have hit Kyle and the 14 truck could have won the race, but it didn’t. ”

DAVID STARR – No. 10 International MAXX Force Diesel Ford F-150 (finished 6th, qualified 30th) – “We’re pretty excited. Dennis Connor [crew chief] and all the guys on the Circle Bar Team did a heck of a job. We pitted early and made adjustments on the truck because it was a little free from the center off. We just got out of the pit sequence and we were able to stay out on the lead lap. We made some great adjustments and we were able to finish in sixth. We really struggled in practice and this is a great finish. I don’t know if we made it to the top-10 in points, I sure hope so. I’m bittersweet. I’m happy that we finished good but I would have liked to do better than that. It was a good way to end the season. We had a great season for Ford, Circle Bar Racing, our sponsor International MAXX Force Diesel; they’ve been a great sponsor. It’s just a great, great effort by everybody. We didn’t win the race, but I’m excited. ”

T. J. BELL – No. 50 Heathcliff’s Cat Litter Ford F-150 (finished 17th, qualified 20th) – “We had an awesome Ford F-150 at the end of the race and just getting caught a lap down really hurt us. We were running some of the fastest lap times. I just can’t thank Roush Fenway, Heathcliff’s Cat Litter and Ford for these unbelievable vehicles that they give me. ” TRACK POSITION WAS REALLY IMPORTANT TONIGHT. “Yeah, you could be two or three-tenths quicker than everybody but it’s so hard to pass. This field is so tough and so tight that you could get a good run underneath somebody but they have that momentum up top. I guess that’s the good thing about this race track, you can run anywhere you want to. This was my first time ever running here and it was a blast. I can’t wait to run here again. ”

ERIK DARNELL – No. 99 Northern Tool + Equipment Ford F-150 (finished 24th, qualified 6th) – “It was a rough night. Our Northern Tool + Equipment Ford F-150 was pretty decent at the beginning of the race. We stopped on the green like the majority of the field and we fell a lap down and we weren’t able to get it back. It was a pretty frustrating night. ”

TRAVIS KVAPIL – No. 6 K&N Filters Ford F-150 (finished 21st, qualified 10th) – “It took everything we could do to. It’s a good track and we were running in the top-five early there and got a lap down on pit road. That’s part of racing. But you hate it when slower trucks benefit from it. And it cost us a couple of spots in the points. But the way the last five races were going, we couldn’t do anything right. It’s disappointing finish. We weren’t going to win, but we had a top five truck. Just certain circumstances let us down. ”

JOEY CLANTON – No. 9 Zaxby’s Ford F-150 (finished 26th, qualified 11th) – “We had a good qualifying spot and we did everything we needed to do. We made the right adjustments on the first pit stop and the truck felt good. It was a little tight in the beginning of the race but we made an adjustment to free it up. We took off and had to pit under that green and got caught up in the caution. I was watching the top five trucks through my windshield the whole nightlong. We just came up short for Ford and Zaxby’s. The biggest thing tonight and all day long, I’m proud of my guys. We fought an ill-handling truck today and they stuck with it. We made every change we could make and had a good truck through the night. I’m glad I could race with such a great crew. ”
