The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is in the third race of a seven-week run that includes races from the eastern seaboard to the heart of the country in the state of Texas. This week, the teams are as far east as they will race all year long on the “Monster Mile” of the Dover International Speedway.
For Green Light Racing driver Tim Sauter, the concrete speedway is just what his team needs to continue moving up in the point standings. Sauter has moved into up six places in the last two weeks and now sits 20th place in the driver’s standings.
“We’ve managed to finish in the top-twenty each of the first two races in this seven-week stretch. We need to keep that momentum going this Friday at Dover,” Sauter said. “We’re bringing the same truck we ran at Charlotte and it really handled good. Things can happen pretty fast here at Dover so our goal this week is to stay out of trouble early and to put the Lester Buildings/ASI LIMITED Chevy into position for a strong finish.”
This weekend’s race is the third race in a seven-race partnership with SS Racing and Green Light Racing; ASI LIMITED, Spectrum Metal Finishing, Akzo Nobel and Aluminum Shapes will join Lester Buildings on the #07 Chevy. “We finished 21st at Atlanta and 17th at Charlotte when they were on the truck,” Sauter said. “I’d like to get into the top-15 for them this week. “
Race fans are encouraged to enter the Lester Buildings “Race Fan Building Sweepstakes” for a chance to win a Lester “Town & Country” building with an MSRP of approximately $30,000 by mailing the coupon from Tim’s autograph card or by completing an online form found at JAYSKI.com, including the site’s expanded Craftsman Truck news pages.

Tim’s thoughts on the Dover International Speedway: “I enjoy racing on concrete. Dover is one of my favorite tracks; we had a top-10 run back in 2002 in a Busch car with the AP team. The track is fast, its narrow and there is usually a lot of attrition so it should be exciting for the fans.”
There are 36 entries for the AAA Insurance 200 which will be televised on SPEED TV at 8:00 eastern on June 1st and also broadcast live on MRN radio at 4:00 eastern time. Mark Martin is the defending race winner.
Affordable associate sponsorship opportunities for the entire season, multi-race packages or single events are still available on the Lester Buildings #07 of Tim Sauter.
