The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will show off their talents in the Quaker Steak and Lube 200 at Lowes Motor Speedway the night before the track will host the Nextel Cup Series All Star event on Saturday evening. For Wisconsin native Tim Sauter this Friday’s truck race is time to show that the slow start to the season is behind and that the Lester Buildings sponsored team is ready to move up in the point standings.
The Green Light Racing team participated in all six sessions during a two-day NASCAR test at the fast mile and a half speedway last week. “We we’re not very good at the start of the test on Thursday but the guys kept working on the truck and we managed to get into the top-half of the speed charts the last two sessions on Friday. We don’t have the speed that the Toyota’s have but we should be alright, ” explained Sauter.
