Tim Sauter and the Lester Buildings #07 Chevy are ready to go short track racing. The 1999 ASA National Champion has logged thousands of laps on tracks one-half mile or less throughout his career and the Green Light Racing team is ready to bank on Sauters experience to guide them to a strong finish this weekend at the Martinsville Speedway.
Sauter realizes that it is time to pick up the pace, I expected to go through a learning curve coming to the Craftsman Truck Series but I really didnt think we would start as slowly as we have. There is a lot of good equipment here at Green Light Racing, weve got good guys who are working hard in the shop. With the small amount of testing we can do, sometimes it just takes a few races for everything to come together, explained Sauter. Its time for us to prove that we are better than we have shown so far this year, Im ready to get to it.
