Formula 1’s resident record-breaker Lewis Hamilton narrowly failed to lower yet another benchmark last week when he made a first appearance on the hugely popular motoring programme Top Gear.
The McLaren ace took part in the BBC show’s regular ‘Star in a Reasonably Priced Car’ feature in which celebrities set a time around the programme’s race track in a Suzuki Liana saloon car. ITV.com
Ice-cool Lewis Hamilton was close to tears after receiving a moving tribute from the sister of his late racing hero Ayrton Senna.
Hamilton received a hat-trick of honours at the Autosport Awards in London last night and the organisers of the event flew in Vivian Senna especially for the occasion.
