Weather: Air temperature 26/28 °C, track temperature 27/28 °C. Slightly cloudy.

First day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, working as from today at the Jerez circuit in Andalusia.

The day’s technical programme was devoted entirely to development of electronics for 2008 and on finding the best set-up for the car in this configuration. Luca Badoer, the Scuderia’s official test driver was at the wheel of the F2007 and completed a total of 38 laps, the quickest in a time of 1.23.432

Testing at this circuit continues tomorrow, again with Luca on track.
