The Driver leading the Formula Renault UK Championship and the Graduate Cup leader at the end of the Croft race meeting will be invited to attend a Formula One test at Silverstone on Thursday, 21st June as guests of ING Renault F1 Team.
Renault Sport UK offers the opportunity to get behind the scenes at the highest level of motorsport to a group of its leading drivers.
The leader of the ELF Renault Clio Cup and Renault-backed Super One karting series will also be invited to attend. Hywel Lloyd and Ian Pearson have already secured their invites by virtue of their respective places at the top of the FR2000 and Club classes of the Formula Renault BARC series.
After lunch at the circuit, including a Q&A session with one of ING Renault F1 Team’s test drivers, guests will be taken on a tour of the paddock, live pitlane and garages to get a first-hand look at a Formula One team at work. There is also the chance to view from the outside of the track.
Fortec duo Duncan Tappy and Dean Smith are heading the race to top the overall points table, while Adam and Riki Christodoulou are leading the Graduate Cup standings. Eight Clio Cup drivers stand a mathematical chance of ending the weekend in first place.
