At the conclusion of the week the team was able to complete its aerodynamic analysis for the forthcoming Canadian Grand Prix today. Once again the Bridgestone Potenza tyres worked well and further detailed information was gathered in preparation for the coming races. A continuation of set-up data afforded the team greater scope with regard the current car’s handling matrix.

Takuma Sato – Day 2

“The weather was nice and sunny, but a strong wind picked up after a few hours in the morning. The test was not as smooth as expected; we had an engine problem early on, but we quickly caught up our work by late morning and were able to complete the planned programme. The results from the afternoon were encouraging. We completed the evaluation of the Monaco high-downforce aero package and also the Bridgestone tyre test for the two options we have for this race, which is just as crucial. During the long runs we collected a lot of valuable data, so in the end it was a good second day at the test. “

James Rossiter - Days 1, 3 & 4

“Over the last two days we have been using the Montreal configuration circuit at Paul Ricard. We evaluated the downforce level of the Montreal spec aero package and also the tyre options for the race. We managed to get good balance and found some interesting points that may assist our performance. I have had a great first week with the SUPER AGURI F1 TEAM and am looking forward to travelling with them next week to Monaco. ”

Graham Taylor, Sporting Director

“I would like to thank the team for their efforts after a long and gruelling week. A substantial amount of information has been gathered which should benefit our performance in the coming races. The SA07 once again proved reliable, with James and Taku benefiting from the completion of a comprehensive number of laps. ‘’
