The Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 team is pleased to announce a partnership with Kangaroo TV® to provide the team with unique Kangaroo TV sets. The Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team-branded compact Kangaroo TV sets will include bespoke content, in addition to live video, audio and data from the team’s two drivers’ double World Champion Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton
Kangaroo Media Inc., with its product, Kangaroo.TV, gives fans the superstar experience by letting them create their own live-action sporting event on site. Its technology delivers video, audio and data in real-time to each fan’s hand-held Kangaroo TV. The multi-year agreement makes Kangaroo TV an official supplier to the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team.
“The signature Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Kangaroo TV sets are a first in the Formula 1 paddock and a forward-thinking move by the team, so their guests can follow the entire race better, ” explained Kangaroo TV Europe GM Alain Charette. “From any point on the circuit, their guests will have access to live in-car cameras to follow Alonso and Hamilton around the track and listen to live driver and team communications, all from a lightweight TV set in the palm of their hand. “
