Fortec Motorsport are pleased to announce that 17 year old Richard Philippe will be joining their World Series by Renault team for the 2007 season. Richard will partner James Walker as the team aims to deliver strong results in its maiden World Series by Renault season.

The French driver said, “I’m ecstatic about the move to Europe and to the very competitive Renault World Series! I can already sense a great atmosphere within the team and I look forward to learning a lot this season. “

After being the youngest Formula BMW USA Champion in the history of the series following his 2005 season and competing in the Champ Car Atlantic series in 2006, Richard continues his rise up the motor sport ladder choosing to change continents with his move into the Formula Renault 3.5 category.
