Super Aguri F1 Team drivers Takuma Sato and Anthony Davidson drove confidently in to Q2 of today’s Spanish Grand Prix Qualifying Session. Differing troubles prevented both drivers from improving on good lap times set earlier in the session, however Takuma will start tomorrow’s race in 13th position, whilst Anthony will be right behind him on the 8th row of the starting grid.

“It is disappointing how we finished Q2; not being able to start my second run as I stopped out on track with a fuel issue. However, we made good progress with the car through the practice session and into Q1 and both cars appeared to be running competitively. It is a shame that we were not able to carry over our momentum from the morning, but never-the-less we have had a good day and I believe that we should be able to have a strong race tomorrow. ”
