It was a case of “Spa weather” at Spa today, with only part of the morning run in thedry, after a damp start and then a wet end to the second day of testing. France’s Sebastien Bourdais took over in the cockpit from Tonio Liuzzi today. Although theweather hampered progress, the team carried out aero work in terms of assessingdownforce levels for this track, as well as some work on brakes.
The changingconditions provided a useful opportunity to try out the Bridgestone wet and extremewet tyres. An hour was lost at the end of the day when the car stopped on track witha mechanical problem.Bourdais continues testing tomorrow
