The Official Program for the United States Grand Prix, filled with 128 pages of entertaining and colorful information about the annual Formula One race June 15-17 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, will be available Monday, June 11.
The cover of the program features a stylized, retro design featuring a collage of a Formula One car, the silhouette of a bald eagle, and the famed Wing and Wheel front gate and Scoring Pylon landmarks at IMS.
The Official Program also includes complete event schedules, a track map, feature stories, Formula One race procedures and rules, a story about the impressive rookie crop in F1 in 2007, a 2007 season update, and 2007 driver and team biographies with color pictures.
Among the feature stories are pieces on American Formula One driver Scott Speed, standout F1 drivers Jenson Button and Kimi Raikkonen, life inside the exclusive Formula One paddock, legendary American F1 driver Dan Gurney and early Grand Prix star Rudolf Caracciola.
Complete information also will be provided on the three support series competing during the USGP: Indy Pro Series™, IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge presented by Michelin and Formula BMW USA. A special feature with 2005 Liberty Challenge winner Marco Andretti, now an IndyCar Series star, also is included.
An F1 spotter’s guide, featuring full-color art of each team’s car and every driver’s helmet, also will be included for fans in the program. The free spotter’s guide can be easily inserted into a plastic ticket sleeve or attached to a lanyard for quick use.
