1-2 Finish For Chevrolet With Rangoni in Third

Chevrolet have recorded their best ever result in the WTCC with a 1-2 finish for Alain Menu and Nicola Larini. The two began from the front of the grid and survived a restart following a lap under safety car conditions. It was in fact the third Chevrolet driver, Rob Huff, who caused the safety car to be deployed after he spun at the Audi Esses on lap 8. Privateer Luca Rangoni finished third after a good start promoted him from 4th to the podium position.
