British youngster Adam Carroll has confirmed he will not take part in DTM after sponsorship issues ruled him out for the rest of the season.
Racing for Team Futurecom-TME, Adam was steadily progressing in the series with the 8th fastest lap time at Norisring, and top ten finishes in Oschersleben and Lausitzring. Only a collision with Jamie Green prevented him from scoring the first points at the EuroSpeedway.
“It is disappointing to leave the series like this. I want to thank Futurecom-TME and Audi for the opportunity I had, ” said Adam.
Team Futurecom-TME spokesman said “we regret the end of the working relationship and wish Adam all the best for his further career”.
Adam will now concentrate on the GP2 series, which he won on Sunday at Silverstone.
