British driver Adam Carroll will start his debut DTM race from 17th on the grid in front of a sell out 140,000 crowd at Hockenheim. It was never going to be an easy task for the Team Futurecom-TME driver, who is in the 2005 Audi A4, and up against the 2006 and 2007 spec cars.
“It was not a great start for me and 17th is certainly not where I want to be. I’m not exactly sure what happened out there. We made some changes during the weekend which will be better for the car in the long run but obviously didn’t work for qualifying. Now I’ve just got to get my head down and get on with tomorrow’s race, ” said Adam.
