It has been an eye-opening weekend for the 24 year old who has not only had to get to grips with a new series and get used to working with a new team, but even relaxing and walking around in the paddock has become difficult as a whole new fan base demands his time and attention.

Adam, from Portadown in Northern Ireland has won races in every series in which he has competed. Most recently in GP2 with three wins coming at some of toughest circuits in the world; Imola, Monaco and Spa. In 2005 he was part of the BAR (now Honda F1) Young Driver programme, testing the F1 car successfully on a number of occasions.

Adam’s car runs in the colours of sponsor Ethos Organics and Castrol-Edge. Tomorrow’s race starts at 2pm (across Europe, 1pm BST).
