Entry For John Bowe In Australian Gt Championship At Clipsal 500 Adelaide Has Been Withdrawn



The previously announced entry for John Bowe to compete in the Australian GT Championship at the 2007 Clipsal 500 Adelaide has been withdrawn.

Organisers of the Australian GT Championship have been informed that a second sponsorship deal not involving the Adelaide brewer Coopers did not eventuate leaving the team no choice but to withdraw the entry.

Australian GT Championship Category Manager Terry Little said today that he was extremely disappointed that the entry for Bowe had been withdrawn only days after it had been received.

“John (Bowe) is one of the all time greats of Australian motor racing and we were looking forward to welcoming to the category at the Clipsal 500.

I am sure that we will see him compete in the GT Championship in the not too distant future”.
