TJ Gulla won Sunday’s Pro Open final, part of the WPSA PowerSports Snowmobile Tour’s Nielsen Enterprises Grand Finale at the Grand Geneva Resort and Spa. Wisconsin’s own Ross Martin clinched the Pro Open title in qualifying. The race was the season finale for the 2006-2007 season.

Gulla (No. 44 Pirtek/Polaris), who netted the Pro Stock title earlier today, just cruised in the final, leading every lap. Blair Morgan (No. 7c Blair Morgan Racing/Ski-Doo) finished second, earning his third Pro Open podium of the season. Martin (No. 837 Judnick Motorsports/Polaris) finished third.

It was great to get the Pro Stock title out the way, so I could just ride my own race, said Gulla. I just let it hang out. I wanted to end the season strong, and I wasn’t able to run hard during the Stock class. So it was nice to take it to the limit.

Martin (No. 837 Judnick Motorsports/Polaris) officially clinched the title during the second round of qualifying, held earlier today. After the second round, Martin held a 44-point lead on Ryan Simons (No. 67 Speedwerx/Arctic Cat) and with just 35 points available in Round 3 and the final, the Pleasant Prairie, Wis. native earned his first Pro title. Simons finished second in points, followed by Gulla.
