The Corvette is somewhat of an icon in the automotive world. It’s been a fixture in pop culture since hitting the streets in 1953.
Each year, many Corvettes make their way to Bowling Green, Ky.—where Corvettes have been built since the early 1980s—to participate in various events (some hosted by the National Corvette Museum, some not) the allow Corvette owners and enthusiasts to gather and celebrate their love for their favorite sports car.
The following photos were taken at this year’s National Corvette Homecoming and show many of the sleek lines and beauty that have made the Corvette a favorite of many car lovers since 1953.
