A legendary car name is being revived by Rolls-Royce which has announced its new model will be called the Ghost.
The name was first used by the company between 1906 and 1925 when a total of 7,876 Ghosts were made - 6,173 in Derby, and 1,703 in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Previously known by its RR4 codename the new car will be powered by a 6.6-litre V12 engine developing more than 500bhp. Prices and exact performance data have still to be announced.
