Semi-Pro Open racer Andrew Johnstad (No. 255 Polaris) and Pro Women rider Angela Vacchino (No. 55 Arctic Cat) were disqualified after their sleds failed post-race inspections at the Air Force Canterbury Snocross at Canterbury Park on Sunday. The double national event represented Rounds 8 and 9 of the 2006-2007 WPSA PowerSports Snowmobile Tour.
Johnstad finished second in the Semi-Pro Open final. The disqualification moves Mathew Piche (No. 518 Arctic Cat) to second, and Chris Kafka (No. 991 Polaris) to third.
Vacchino timed third in the Pro Women final. The disqualification moves Delene Dippel (No. 102 Polaris) to third.
