NARA Battle Of The Bluegrass Modified Series Set To Make Its First Appearance at Florence Speedway

The NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Modified Series is set to make its first appearance since 2005 at the famous Florence Speedway, this Saturday, June 23rd. In the Series last visit to the King Family promoted northern Kentucky oval, Billy Vaughn took the win over a field of 53 entries.

The highly-anticipated return to Florence Speedway for the NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Modified will feature a complete racing program with Time Trials, Heats, B-Mains, and the 25-lap A-Main paying $1500 to win. Ticket prices for this event are only $15 for General Admission and $30 for the Pits. Pit gates are slated to open at 5PM, with the main gates opening at 6PM. Hot Laps are set to being promptly at 6:30 PM.

Two weeks ago, Joey Kramer was the winner over as the “BoB Mod Squad” attacked the super high-banks of the Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, TN marking the Series first ever appearance in the Volunteer State, the win was Kramer’s second Series win of 2007. Dennis Roberson and Donnie Adams both have collected Series wins thus far in 2007 season as well.

Florence Speedway is a 1/2-mile, high-banked clay oval located on US 42 just south of Union, KY and is owned and operated by Jerry, Mona, and Josh King.
