Bartone Races Hight First Round



Tony Bartone will take his Lucas Oil Chevrolet Monte Carlo Funny Car into eliminations at the 27th annual Summit Racing Southern Nationals at Atlanta Dragway from the No. 15 position and will race Robert Hight on Sunday.

His run of 4.792 seconds will stand as his best run of the weekend and the Jim Dunn-led team is happy about their participation in Sunday’s events. On Saturday, they had some difficulty negotiating the slippery quarter-mile and what they learned today will enable them in their decision making process for raceday.
