After completing a successful test session at their home track in Columbus, brothers John and Mike Coughlin will head to South Georgia Motorsports Park this weekend for the completion of the NHRA Division 2 Lucas Oil Series event. The race was originally scheduled for April 13-15, but had to be postponed due to high winds.
Before the action was halted,, John was qualified second in Super Stock and was the No. 15 qualifier in the Top Dragster class with his new Undercover Chassis dragster. Mike was seeded fifth in the Top Sportsman class after a 6.91 effort in his Chevy Cobalt. Now, both Coughlin brothers are eager to return to the popular facility to finish what they started nearly a month ago.
