Pro Modified driver Eddie Ware and The Disturbed Motorsports Camaro qualified but failed to compete in the first round of Pro Modified eliminations at this weekend’s IHRA Amalie Oil Texas Nationals presented by NAPA Auto Parts at San Antonio Raceway.
Lack of oil pressure was the culprit for the Georgia-based Pro Mod team.
“The Rupture Streetwear Camaro lost oil pressure when we started the car for the first round and we had to shut it down,” said Ware from Marietta, GA. “It’s unfortunate, as we were scheduled to race Ed Hoover and his 1963 Corvette.”
The Disturbed Motorsports Team qualified 12th with a 4.092-second run at over 282 miles per hour on an unprecedented eighth-mile track in a field of 16 Pro Modified finalists.
