Due to unforeseen issues pertaining to the track surface at San Antonio Raceway, the IHRA Amalie Oil Texas Nationals was contested as an eighth-mile event instead of using the customary quarter-mile length.
“We’ll work on the car in San Antonio to prepare for our next race in Houston this coming weekend, ” added the 32-year old Ware.

The O’Reilly NHRA Spring Nationals presented by Pennzoil, is scheduled for March 30-April 1 at Houston Raceway Park.
