Jeg Coughlin Jr. will spend the off-weekend between NHRA national events in Reading, Pa., and Indianapolis by meeting with the nation’s top motorsports journalists at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tenn., site of the Sharpie 500 NASCAR race. Coughlin will be answering questions about the Countdown to the Championship playoff-style format the NHRA has instituted this year to decide the 2007 POWERade Drag Racing Series champions.

While in Bristol, Coughlin will join Team JEGS racer Kenny Wallace on the set of Speed TV’s RaceDay show, the most popular motorsports program in the country. He’ll also visit with ESPN commentators who will be on hand for both the Busch and NASCAR events.
