Kenny Koretsky was pleased with certain aspects of his first-round Pro Stock loss to Jeg Coughlin in the opening round of Sunday s rain-delayed O Reilly Spring Nationals at Houston Raceway Park.
“I am getting back into the driving groove, ” said Koretsky, who missed most of the 2006 season and was the 16th qualifier in an abbreviated two-run, rain-shorted qualifying session here. “I think we are getting things together on Greg Hill s Indicom Electric/Nitro Fish Chevy Cobalt team. We have the horsepower in Steve Schmidt motors but we can t seem to get it to the ground. ”
