The Morgan Lucas Racing teams took the provisional qualifying positions of No. 2 and No. 4 in qualifying for the O Reilly Spring Nationals at Houston Raceway Park with Melanie Troxel leading the way of the two-car Top Fuel operation.
Troxel powered her Vietnam Veterans Memorial dragster to an elapsed time of 4.530 seconds, 323.89 mph while her counterpart, Morgan Lucas ran a nearly identical time of 4.538 seconds.
