The Disturbed Motorsports team was in the show after the first round of qualifying with a 6.232-second, 231.36-mph run, but were unable to capitalize on this showing, aborting subsequent runs and not making the stout field of 16 Pro Modified finalists.
“The team will stay in Gainesville and test on Monday,” said team Crew Chief Sam Ware. “Hopefully that will help us figure things out before leaving for Texas,” he added. “Some of the teams here really had their act together and ran very well. It doesn’t make us feel any better, but there were some very strong teams that missed the mark as well.”
Josh Hernandez defeated Troy Critchley in the final of the AMS Staff Leasing Pro Modified Challenge presented by Tindle Enterprises with a 5.938-second 244.29-mph pass.

The Amalie Oil Texas Nationals presented by NAPA AUTO PARTS, is scheduled for March 23 - 25 at San Antonio Raceway.
