Gainesville, Prerace
Mar 16, 2007

“While we were there, we tested my car, too. Gainesville is a different critter than Pomona and Phoenix, so I changed how I’m running the car a little bit. I think my changes were right and we learned some things that I hope will help. As long as the sun stays out and it’s the Gainesville that we all know and love, we should be good. “

Wilkerson has a strong history at the Gatornationals. Just a few years ago, he qualified No. 1 and advanced to the semifinals, both things that help a team build points. A repeat of that weekend, however difficult, would help Wilk stay in the top 10.

“I’m feeling good about our cars, “ said Wilkerson. “I’d say both of the Wilkerson’s are ready to take on the competition this weekend, and here’s hoping we both come out smiling. “
