The GP2 Series will kick off its 2007 season with a championship-launching party in Bahrain on the evening of April 12. The event, to be housed in a specially built venue at the Bahrain International Circuit in the F1 Vending Zone, will be the first chance for the media to meet the Class of 2007, and to reacquaint themselves with the leading personalities from our teams and the GP2 Series organisation. The evening will take the form of a VIP club event with an open bar and light buffet for guests. With half the venue given over to a comfortable and intimate arrangement of seating, the remainder will be one large dance floor as the GP2 Series continues its tradition of launching its championship seasons with an exciting musical show.
This year we welcome Guy Hornsby and Gary Holden, two of the finest emerging DJs from the North and South of the UK, who will launch the 2007 season with a continuous mix of the finest electro and house music.
