The wonderful environment offered by the woods around Spa-Francorchamps didn`t fit with the negative first day of Practice and Qualifying experienced by Trident Racing. The qualifications ended with the team`s drivers Kohei Hirate and Ricardo Risatti respectively in 20th and 22nd. The chances to score a prompt recovery in the two weekend`s races are yet reduced to a possibility, and the main hope is to see the Japanese and the Argentinean fight for points. At least, the Belgian racetrack offers many opportunities for passing, and the notoriously inclement weather of the region could easily represent a way to turn tables. Race 1, scheduled for tomorrow at 16:00, will feature high-level fighting and high tensions.

Unfortunately, all the effort wasn`t worth the first half of tomorrow`s starting grid, and that was the realistic goal we originally set for the weekend at Spa with Hirate and Risatti”.
