Bridgestone Motorsport s GP2 Series Report



Luca Filippi (Super Nova) and Nicholas Lapierre (DAMS) have taken the first two race victories of the 2007 GP2 Series season run on Bridgestone Potenza slick tyres at the Bahrain International Circuit.

Saturday s 34 lap race was won by pole-setter Filippi by over eight seconds from Timo Glock (iSport) with Alex Zuber (iSport) taking third spot. Sunday s 23 lap race was won by Lapierre who started on the front row thanks to the top eight from the first race being reversed to set the start order for race two.
