The Formula Renault 2.0 Italia is back in action this weekend (15-16/05). After the first two rounds of the season that both took place at Vallelunga, the circus is moving out of the confines of Italy to the prestigious and fascinating Spa circuit.
The Belgian track which is part of the Formula 1 World Championship, and which helped write the history of the sport.
On this track, Prema will be heading into the weekend as championship leaders thanks to Henkie Waldschmidt who is in command of the Championship, after his good results obtainedfrom round 2. Martin plowman is hot on his heels in equal second place, while Andrea Caldarelli, who was able to put behind him a string of negative results to take a strong 7th place in race 1, was the victim of a multiple car crash, only a few seconds after the start in which his car barrel rolled heavily damaging his car.
The first race at Spa will unusually take place on the Friday at 16:45 while race 2 will take place on Saturday morning at 11:10.
