Not a particularly good weekend for the Prema power team a Valencia in the fourth round of the F. Renault 2.0 Italia. The best result in the two spanish result was claimed by Martin Plowman, 11th in the first race contested after starting from the 8th row of the grid. Henki Waldschmidt, experienced another negative weekend. Despite being 5th in qualifying, he retired in race 1 after only 2 laps after contact with Stefano Coletti leaving him with a broken suspension.
In race 2 starting from pole he managed to hold off the advancing Jaime Alguersari before being given a drive through penalty for speeding in the pitlane as he left the pits to join the dummy grid. He rejoined well down the order finishing in 18th place with Plowman crossing the line in 13th place. Andrea Calderelli, 17th in Qualifying, finished the first race in 13th place, while in the second he fought hard with a broken front wing before retiring. The next meeting is at Misano on the 21-22 of July.
