Courtney and Brittany Force, daughters of 14-time NHRA Funny Car world champion John Force, will compete this weekend at the NHRA Division 7 Drag Races at Infineon Raceway.
Courtney, at 21 the youngest of Force’s four daughters, raced to her first final and victory at the 22nd annual NHRA Northwest Nationals outside Seattle two weeks ago. Brittany Force is 23. The sisters will compete in the Top Alcohol category this weekend.
More than 500 drag racers are expected at Infineon for an event that is part of the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series.
The top two divisions are Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car, both capable of reaching speeds of 270 mph in less than six seconds.
