Jr. Formula: Ten Very Intense Days To Go For Team Prema For Estoril Round # 8 premapowerteam

The ten forthcoming days will be for the World Series by Renault and therefore for the Team Prema, ten very intense days. With Estoril and Barcelona, between the 21st and 28th of October, the name of the driver who will be crowned 2007 champion will be revealed. Among the contenders, there is Ben Hanley, the rising star of Angelo Rosin’s Team. The Brit of the Renault Drivers Development has to close the gap of 15 points from Alvaro Parente of Tech 1: 99 against 84 points. The final fight doesn’t exclude Milos Pavlovic and Felipe Albuquerque, even if their gap is more important. The Portuguese meeting of Estoril will start on Thursday with an intensive day of free practice. The expected temperatures are high as they shouldn’t be inferior to 26 degrees. Hanley will arrive at Estoril motivated after both very positive races at Spa and Magny-Cours. Without the ineffective meeting of Donington due to electronics, Ben’ s standings would definitely be more advantageous at the moment. However, looking back is pointless. Hanley and Prema will be expected at these four decisive races where no minor error will be permitted. The battle shall begin.

René Rosin Team Manager:
“The highly expected moment has finally arrived. We are heading to Estoril and Barcelona in order to fight for the Championship, which is already a significant result for Prema, only at the second year in such a competitive series. Ben Hanley is capable of great things, as he has demonstrated at Spa and Magny Cours. We will provide, as always, the maximum support, either technical or human. If he remains calm and in control, I believe we can obtain great results.”

Standings:

1.Parente 99; 2.Hanley 84; 3.Vettel 74; 4.Pavlovic 65; 5.Albuquerque 63; 6.Van der Garde 47; 7.Barba 45; 8.Moreau 43; 9.Duran, Jousse 44;
