“Today`s tests really paid off: the feedback we got was absolutely positive and met our best expectations. Maldonado run a 25-lap race simulation, resulting to be both fast and consistent. With his second set of new tires, Pastor was also able to put together a great qualifying run, that put him among the fastest drivers of the day. Hirate made a 30-lap simulation too, keeping a good pace until the closing stages. We worked with Kohei in finding a specific set up to suit his driving style, and we tried to prepare him to the new situations he`ll encounter with several takeoff and pit-stop tests. Tomorrow we`ll take today`s results as a starting point, trying to end on the same positive trend”.
