The Champ Car World Series on Monday announced a 14-race schedule for 2008 that includes a new event in Jerez, Spain. Six races are in the United States.
Gone from the 2007 schedule, which concludes Sunday in Mexico City, are downtown street races in Las Vegas and San Jose, Calif. Three races that were on the original 2007 schedule but subsequently canceled—Denver, Phoenix and China—are not part of the plans in ‘08. IndyStar.com
