Houston Roots: Although Figge is a native of Davenport, Iowa and a resident of Denver, Colorado, most of his family is from and lives in Houston. Alex will have a large crowd cheering for him as he makes his Houston debut this weekend on the 1.658-temporary street circuit.
Creating New Fans: In addition to his large contingency of Houston based family cheering him on, Alex and his teammate Ryan Dalziel can count on a cheering section of brand new Champ Car fans this weekend. They will host 25 children and their parents from the local Ronald McDonald House at 11:30 on Friday. Figge and Dalziel will have lunch with the kids at the PCM hospitality unit and then give the kids an inside look of the PCM garage with a tour and photos.
