The Forsythe Championship Racing crew along with returning driver Mario Dominguez will join Paul Tracy at his adopted home town of Las Vegas today as they prepare for the start of the 2007 Champ Car World Series Season. Its been a busy two weeks for the Forsythe crew which has put in long hours and late nights in order to ensure that the # 3 and # 7 Champ Cars are perfectly prepared and ready to be taken through streets of Las Vegas at full speed.
Tracy, a Las Vegas resident, will return to Champ Car competition after missing the last round of the Season last year due to injury. This will mark Tracys 250th Champ Car start, the most of any active driver. He also leads the active driver list with most Victories (30), Pole Positions (25), and Podiums (72). A 2006 Season which was plagued with mechanical failures and on track incidents proved to be a tough one for Tracy and the # 3 crew, but things seem to be turning around as the Forsythe Team hopes to capitalize on the speed that it has shown during preseason testing and the long hours of preparation leading up to the Vegas Grand Prix, the Season Opener for the 2007 Champ Car World Series.
